Indianapolis, Ind. Digital.com, a leading independent review website for small business online tools, products, and services, has announced hc1 Operations Management™ among the best healthcare customer relationship management (CRM) software of 2021. The study examined core features that are essential for small businesses as well as integration capabilities and reporting tools.  

hc1 and other software companies on the final list offer features, such as physician management, patient management, and medical history records. Experts at Digital.com also assessed platforms with pre-built integrations for EHR/EMR systems and other tools often used with healthcare CRM software. It was also critical to include software that can generate customized reports and analyze data to help users make informed decisions.

Digital.com’s research team conducted a 40-hour assessment of over 80 solutions from across the web.

hc1 Team Members Honored for Contributions to Indianapolis Business Community

Local awards recognize rising stars for their contributions to the technology and business sectors

 

INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 25, 2021hc1, the leader in critical insight, analytics, and solutions for precision health, announces Val Spangler, senior manager of BI operations for hc1, has been selected for the 2021 TechPoint Tech 25 Class. This annual award honors a prestigious selection of 25 individuals who are exceptional performers in helping grow the community’s tech and tech-enabled companies. Hand-selected by an independent judging panel, Spangler was celebrated during a special joint event with the Indianapolis Business Journal’s CTO of the Year awards at the Indiana Roof on Aug. 19, 2021.

Having joined hc1 in 2018, Spangler’s role requires her to work cross-functionally to achieve success. Her ability to ask the right questions, spot data trends, and effectively communicate and collaborate enables the team to turn powerful data into actionable insights and in turn enables hc1 clients to make the most of their solutions. 

In addition, Nichol Wuertemberger, senior manager of operations at hc1, was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s inaugural class of 20 in their Twenties, a group of up-and-coming leaders in central Indiana who will help shape our economy and our communities for decades to come. A supplement in the Aug. 6, 2021 issue of the weekly newspaper noted Wuertemberger started at hc1 in 2016 as an Orr Fellow and is now responsible for executing strategy and financial operations, working on everything from the company’s five-year business plan to weekly execution. During the pandemic, he was a key player in helping hc1 release three COVID-related analytics solutions in six months.

The Pandemic Pivot of the Year (Small-Medium Businesses) award recognizes tech employers who responded in remarkable ways to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As vaccines roll out and we collectively navigate towards this “new normal” everyone keeps talking about, we want to stop and take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come. Striving and surviving in the wake of a global pandemic certainly isn’t easy, and we think it’s incredible how so many people showed up and prevailing despite the chaos—specifically in Indy’s tech sector.

Indianapolis-based TechPoint has unveiled the nominees for the 2021 Mira Awards, honoring the “Best in Tech in Indiana.” The nonprofit growth accelerator for the state’s tech sector says this year’s event will be held virtually in April and includes more than 120 nominees across 13 categories, including the recently-added “Pandemic Pivot of the Year.” TechPoint Chief Executive Officer Mike Langellier says the stories from this year’s nominees demonstrate “inspirational and remarkable creativity, resilience and persistence amidst the challenges of a pandemic.
